I grew up in a small town in Indiana, where my hero was my Pappy Jack. He taught me how to play golf, but more importantly he taught me about honesty, integrity, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching. Those lessons stuck with me and ultimately shaped the way I approach life and business today.
I also grew up watching my parents and grandparents run their family insurance agency. I saw how they treated their clients, not like transactions, but like family. They always made time for people, they always looked out for their clients’ best interests, and they lived by a phrase I still believe in today: “After the sale, it’s the service that counts.”
When my grandfather passed away, I watched my mom and her siblings step in to make sure my grandmother was going to be okay: emotionally, financially, and in every other way that matters. Seeing that moment up close changed my perspective. It made me realize how important it is for families to have someone they trust helping them navigate their finances and long-term plans.
That experience ultimately led me into wealth management.
I started my career with a large global firm and later worked for a local wealth management firm. Those experiences taught me a lot, but they also reinforced something I’ve always believed: the best way to serve families is by keeping things personal.
That’s why I started Olympus Wealth Strategies.
My goal was to build a firm where I could work with a select number of families, truly get to know them, and build customized portfolios and financial plans around their lives — because no two families are the same. I believe wealth management should be personal, thoughtful, and built on trust.
To me, this business has never been about selling products or being focused on annualized revenue growth. It’s about relationships, responsibility, and helping the people who trust you make good decisions for their families and their future.
Olympus Wealth Strategies was built around those same principles I learned growing up: honesty, integrity, and service that continues long after the initial conversation.
Because in this profession, relationships matter more than anything.
And to me, after the sale… it’s the service that counts.
